It is now February, and many women are preparing for their spring or summer 2011 wedding. Most brides want to be the star of their wedding because all eyes are going to be on her as well as her groom. She, therefore, needs to make sure that she has the perfect dress, hairstyle, and accessories. I will describe three bride styles, Romantic Fairy, Modern Elegance, and Sensual Flirt styles, as well as extras that should be added to each style.

The Modern Elegance bride has a very simple and minimalist style. The dress tends to have clean lines without any details. The accent color for this bride is silver. So, eye shadow and eye pencil, nail polish, garter, and high heel metallic silver shoes should have this silver accent. A wedding gift for this bride would include a silver porcelain teapot and tea set, the best wine bottle, stationery, and a wedding album for the many photographs from her elegant wedding. Since her hair is simple and pulled back into an elegant chignon, a beautiful tiara with diamonds and pearls is her perfect hair accessory. Actually, the only jewelry she would wear is silver jewelry with diamonds and pearls to decorate her body, but it must be minimal jewelry. Or, she would wear a very simple silver cuff, a silver ring band and matching collar necklace in a silver metal. Since she is wearing a beautiful tiara, she would also wear small earrings and one ring. Other added accessories are white gloves, silver-rimmed sunglasses, and a bouquet of white flowers.

The Sensual Flirt bride is sexy, flirtatious, and often loud. The wedding dress should fit her curves well to show off her sexy body. A dress with a bodice top and fishtail on the bottom would be perfect for her. Her hair is full and flirty, with lots of curls. A gold hair accessory with ruby stones can decorate her long curls. Her accent color is red. Satin thong underwear and bra, garter, lipstick, and nail polish should be red. Her jewelry should be gold with ruby stones, which include dangling earrings as well as many rings to decorate her manicured hands. Her shoes should be gold stilettos with sparkling gold studs and gems or gold-colored satin high heel sandals. Her bouquet must be of red flowers. All these brides need to add four extra items, which include something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. The blue item could include a blue garter or jewelry with blue gem. The old item could be nice underwear and bra that the bride already owns or her shoes. The new item could include the tiara, headpiece, or a hairpiece accessory. Something borrowed could include an antique heirloom from her mother , a garter, her grandfather’s pocket watch she would wear as a necklace, or her father’s cuffs that she would wear on her buttonholes, at the back of her wedding dress, for decorative added jewelry.
